Wendy Bradley, ATR-BC, CLAT
I am a board-certified, licensed art therapist with over 25 years clinical experience. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in various settings, including psychiatric and medical hospitals, as well as school-based programs. I have also been an adjunct professor, teaching psychology, child development, and human communication courses for the last 15 years.
Currently, I have a private practice in Connecticut, where my passion lies in helping children in grief and trauma while also providing support to parents during challenging times. Additionally, I volunteer with First Aid of the Soul (FAS), where I am a Board Member, Supervision Coordinator and Co-Director of The Nadiiya Project (a camp for children and families in grief and trauma in Ukraine). FAS is an organization dedicated to offering immediate psychosocial support to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
I present at conferences and workshops, locally and globally, on topics that include childhood grief, childhood trauma, working with parents and art therapy. I am also the author of the children’s therapy book, “Spidey Senses: A Story to Help You Learn to Use Your Senses to Calm Your Worries.” (In both English and Ukrainian).
My commitment to helping others and my involvement in supporting individuals in crisis are central to my work. I strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those I work with, utilizing my skills and experience to foster healing, growth, and resilience.
I am a professional member of the American Art Therapy Association and accredited through the Art Therapy Credentials Board.
